This was basically a copy of Meagan Meades Guide to the McGowan Boys but I loved that book so I obviously loved this one!!
This book is light and entertaining, but that's it. I actually thought it had potential, but it was wasted. Everything was good until I got to the middle of the book and then everything went down hill. It was obvious she was going to be in a love triangle with two brothers, but the fact that were the ones that look alike and everyone seems to compare was just too cliche for me. And the whole struggle the main character went through was the wrong one. Jackie (and some people) kept saying she needed to stop running. She didn't run away from ANYTHING. Her real issue was to let go of the guilty feelings of living and moving on without her family, and I think that wasn't aproached enough.
medium-paced
Oh boy STOP IT!!!
This was so cute.
I'm just saying this
TEAM COLE
I don't normally like open endings but since we're getting a season two of the show, we'll get some kind of closure!!
I love how they ended things between Jackie and Alex in the book, how he explained why he acted that way and that she told him how she felt about Cole...
And A RAIN KISS??? YES PLEASE
I loved every second of this book
