I really, really wanted to love this book. I'm a glutton for tortured pasts, darkness, and redemption.
But I cannot handle this whole pain thing in this context. No judging. It just wasn't satisfying to read. Sorry, not sorry. We can't love everything we read.
* One more thing about R.K's books. Since she mentioned porn viewing... This is what has bugged me in many of her books, many of the sex scenes are like describing porn. There is usually a total emotional disconnect for the guys involved. They almost always feel out of place in the story. Just my thoughts.
*did this girl never watch where she was going, she hit that 'wall of muscles' so many times it brought on major eye rolling.

3.75 ⭐️ Listen, I loved Creigh, but this felt a bit dragged out to me. I thought it would never end. It is however, way better than the first book!
