2.5⭐️ I didn't enjoy this one, I didn't get buy into the characters, relationship, or conflict. The MCs also more often than not annoyed me

I LOVED LOVED LOVEDDD THE BOOK UP UNTIL THE END. It was only .25 off cause of it not that it was bad its was just so much that it was hard to follow!

This book was twice as long as it needed to be, and maybe that’s on me for expecting more plot, but nothing happened for 80% of this 🥲

Rating 2.75 because I love all the side characters sm and these audiobook narrators really give life to the main characters (even when they’re irritating me)

The romance was not appealing.

The FMC, Annika, appeared weak throughout most of the storyline. The MMC, Creighton, was also not likable enough. The main confrontation was messy and the resolution was not satisfying.

I found myself just waiting for the story to end so I could move on to the next book.
