This book was like a holiday special novella except not a novella. It was cute and I really enjoyed seeing the whole gang together. The background plot was pretty interesting but a few things fell short for me. None of the stuff with Tavish really landed how I think it was intended. Lucas getting into Leland's head was painful and the resolution was...I don't know, cheesy? The end of the book wrapped up rather too neatly and quickly, too. There was so much action and mystery and then just POW it's done. I don't know. Not my favorite of the series but still a joy.

I just loooove Leland and Jackson so much!! They make me happy! They truly love each other without exception or judgment. Leland is so unapologetically weird and sarcastic and Jackson just gets him. They are passionate, fun, emotional, silly - such a wonderfully balanced relationship.

Every side character brings so much to this series and this final book was no exception. They made such a wild and supportive found family.

The mystery in this was great! Definitely kept me guessing and moved the plot forward the whole time. It all came together cohesively.

I’m really going to miss these guys!!

As always, Leland is ridiculous! However, this bit of crazy antics, action, mystery, and love was just what I needed right now. Michael Ferraiuolo did a great job narrating it, although Jackson and Leland's voices were sometimes too similar and I forgot who was speaking. I totally didn't see the outcome of the convoluted situation.

I have to sit patiently waiting for book 5 to be on audio so I might have to read the ebook as I’m addicted to Lelands crazy.
I have been feeling down and this series has made me laugh so hard I’m glad I saw the recommendation for it and I can’t wait to listen to more from Alice Winters.
