I listened to a review copy of this book provided by Netgalley. The stories were absorbing and really made me think. Looking forward to reading this author's backlsit, as I have not read anything by her before.

this is truly a solid collection of short stories; each one carried their weight and left me feeling a variety of emotions. My only qualm is that I wished for more resolution to some of the stories, but at the same time, Tananarive Due excels at exploring the horror in ambiguity and the unknown.

This was my first by this author. A lot of the endings greatly bothered me because I like closure when I read, but she has a way of using every single one of your emotions throughout each story that is just insane. I would like to review each story individually but I listened to the audiobook for this one.
They made me feel a lot more than I expected going into this book. (Fantastic narrator by the way)
