Me gustó mucho este libro cuando era niña pero ahora...no sé. Hay cosas que me gusta mucho todavía, pero fue muy diferente de lo que recuerde. Pensé que fue una historia sobre la amistad, pero ahora no estoy segura. Sí, Carlota es muy leal, pero no entiendo porque. Cuando Carlota es viva, no hay una relación de dar y recibir ente ella y Wilbur; ella se da a Wilbur todo el tiempo.

It was sweet. Wilber is kind of a whiney baby but it’s understandable. I grew up watching the cartoon but haven’t ever read the book. I think that overall I prefer the cartoon. It was mostly the same but there were little changes here and there and I really liked the part of the show where Templeton goes into the fair to eat.

I will never, ever, as long as I live read this book without weeping. It is a must read for all ages.

I just finished this as a read-aloud with my youngest while my three big kids listened in, too. Beauty. Truth. Friendship. Sacrifice. Love. All the big themes of life wrapped in this precious book. What a gift to share it with my little people.
