Why must all the girl characters become vapid? Fern ignores Wilbur whose life she saved and chases Henry.
A classic but it needs a re-write of the silly humans. The animals are all quality characters though.

Unusual book! โ˜บ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜It is not too hard to read, and it's very interesting.I like that it's about a girl ๐Ÿ‘ง and ๐Ÿ–. Except for Babe, I've never read a book about a pig, and this book is a little bit better than Babe. Great book!

A classic story, filled with happiness & sadness, life & death, & a friendship thatโ€™ll last forever.

Read this story to my daughter, and at first she wasnโ€™t a huge fan of Charlotte, until she saw how much she helped her friend. She was in tears by the end, but was so happy Wilbur lived.

Would have been 5 stars if Henry Fussy wasnโ€™t part of it. I did cry every time they said โ€œtrue friendโ€

I honestly can not believe that this book has been sitting on my shelf for about 15 years and I'm just now reading it. It was amazing, and a true classic. A part of me is glad that I read it now versus when I was younger so I could appreciate the beauty of the story and the prose. Some book!

Why have into visited my old friend, E.B. White in so long? Pulling out his essays next

This was one of my favorite stories as a child. I zipped through it today for a project I'm working on for a class I'm taking, and it was just as delightful and sweet as I remember.

This classic is a treasure that loves life like few books do. Diving headfirst into death like leaping from a hayloft with nothing but a knotted rope for a swing, EB White and his characters acknowledge and grapple with deathโ€™s integral role in life.

In a society that increasingly denies or shields its members (especially the youngest among us) from lifeโ€™s harsh truths, Charlotteโ€™s Web is a potent shot of transcendent reality cloaked in a lovable fable about a girl set against the injustices of life.
