I would’ve given this book a 5⭐️ but it left me with so many unanswered questions at the end. I don’t know if she plans to write a sequel but if she did I wouldn’t be disappointed. This book was twisted and suspenseful and just well written. I wanted to know who the people were tho. There wasn’t really insight to if they were able to figure out why these people who took them did this or how many they did this to and they didn’t say if they officially got them or were able to lock them up. Did she tell him he was the dad? How did he survive a whole year without the people who took them knowing?

I listened to the audiobook of this and could NOT stop listening! I was so entertained lol. I was constantly trying to figure out what was going on. I will say the ending was just a little anticlimactic for me!! but definitely not the worst. I still give 4 stars for a good time!

Holy plot holes Batman. The premise of the story sounds promising but just wasn’t executed for the shock and awe that it could have packed. Meh.

I've read a few of this author's books now and I must admit I do love them. They are quick and easy to read and come with some mega twists....
But I'm afraid this one fell a little flat for me. Don't get me wrong, it was an intriguing plot and I finished it quickly, but I did actually guess the twist early on and it wasn't as shocking as some of her other books.
I will of course continue to read her books and recommend them to any psychological thriller fan!
