Main critique: FMC whined a lot. admittedly she had valid self doubts from her past experiences, she required so much verbal affirmation. If you removed the ego stroking this book would be 150 pages instead of 500

This book gave me all the feels

I Loved this book so much! The author did an excellent job taking care to capturing some real life struggles that plus size people experience without the book feeling like it was outright fat shaming.it was handled with such care while also giving a voice to our FMC's past trauma and experiences.

This book seems like something that’s right up my alley, but it was such a hard read. The sheer amount of trauma the main characters experienced just became uninteresting at a certain point. There’s only so much trauma these people can experience. It felt like everyone expect the main characters were just straight villains. In addition, I found all the main characters to be so insecure and needy. I got really tired of all the crying and whining and needing reassurance from each other.
