I wonder if it's been a minute since I read this book or where I've been rewatching the Hunger Games trilogy while working on my reviews. Still, this duet reminds me a lot of Mockingjay, where they fought the government, but it's very loosely compared. Plus, I loved learning about how different these two regions were and how if they were just on the other side, they wouldn't have been in as much danger, but due to Josie, they could never get over there legally. But honestly, looking back, I only remember a little of this duet. I read it back in July, and I'm working on this post in November. It's one of those things that I just can't remember anything about. I overrated this one, but at the same time, I have to go with my ratings since I can't remember anything, and she apparently did.

If ur a fan of omegaverse with sweet guys, where society is the problem, u’ll probably like this book.

Surprising Demisexual rep, I’m the opposite of disappointed.

A/B/O ‘s aren’t my favourite so take my review with a grain of salt.

A little rapey but no where near as much as typical for this genre. I liked the guys and how communicative they r with each other and her. She is very traumatized by her past, and I really want them to kill the government leader guy and her whole family.

Mild spoiler:
what is wrong with Dave in the end of the book, my theory is they have like brain washed him somehow, maybe thats what they did to the “good-guy” politicians? I just don’t think he’d say something like that to Clem, and then just take Josie to that room.
