This was adorable. Set in Regency England at the end of the Napoleonic Wars.
A delightful cast of cozy mystery characters.

I had a couple issues with this, but it was engaging and entertaining. I liked the setting and I generally enjoyed the characters.

This book was just okay to me. I don't know if I didn't get into the time period or what, but I wasn't blown away by it. I have read other stories by Leighann Dobbs in the Lexy Baker series that I really enjoyed, so I was surprised that I felt a bit underwhelmed by this book.

I literally enjoyed every bit of this novel. It got me hooked and I stayed up late just to finish it. I was a bit disappointed by the killer but at the same time, I liked how I wasn't suspecting him that much. Really nice read

To claim her dowry, and prove her skills as an investigator, Lady Katherine has until her 25th birthday to capture, without help, the pink-ribbon murderer. All the while taking a position as a matchmaker at a house party.
With a lot of suspects Katherine finally gets to the guilty party.
A good start to the series and I would be interested in finding out which characters carry over to the next book.
