My favourite of the Love in O'Leary books. I adored the dynamic between Con and Micah.

Middle age (gap) 24/40

Third O’Leary instalment. Like the first two books this one is entirely standalone but takes place in an overlapping timeline with the first two. I've seen other people complain about this but I personally really enjoyed it.

Con is young and feels the need to make up for his teenage sins after almost a decade. His mom takes 1000% advantage of his willingness to make amends. Micah is 40 and seriously committed to making his business work and pulling string to help Con.

These guys are so foolish but in love (at least during the 3rd act break up).

I love this series so much. It's sweet and emotional and the small town vibes work with my personal experiences in a way that make it all seem *real.* Very pleased with Constantine's character arc and holy wow was Micah a sweetheart once he pulled his head out of his arse.

I hate that I liked this book. There is a 16 age-gap. I typically abhor age-gaps. But this one wasn't creepy and didn't feel predatory.
Small town, business competitors

I love the O'Leary series so much and appreciate that each couple has their own unique story.
Micah and Con's situation is a bit sticky from the beginning. They have this undeniable attraction to each other but Micah isn't able to embrace it the same way Con can.
They truly support each other in ways that partners have to.
I really enjoyed how it intertwined through the other stories ending around the same time as The Note.
MORE PLEASE!

Re-read made me just as happy as it did the first time but with all the little details I missed my first go around being really appreciated :)

Constantine is such a rich character, I love to see a character growing like this
