Overall plot idea was good but execution was horrible. I actually kept hoping every character would die off or would die off faster. Probably would make for a good TV series, but I had reader’s fatigue way too early in this short book.

ending seemed unsatisfying to me, but is probably realistic all things considered. also would have wanted just a bit more descriptive world building about how the microplastic storm came to pass, like how do we get there from where we are in the present moment?

Absolutely stunning debut. The tension was constant, at times I felt I couldn't get a breath in. Horrifyingly plausible, devastatingly real. Amazing.
