Kan ha ykoun 3.5, mongol savio y'a nass mais bon j'ai aimé les 2

this could have been so cute if Savio wasn’t a sex addict? And it hadn’t taken Gemma nearly dying to get him to fix up?? foul if you ask me

Savio is *the worst*. I was really hoping he would change in his own book but instead he got worse. He slept with countless women throughout their engagement which is unforgivable to me. He was convinced he'd continue having sex with other women even after they were married. He got a wake up call when her family was murdered and she was injured. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is bc of how he was after they got married. I gotta give Gemma props for making him wait on their physical intimacy until their emotional intimacy was established. I knew this was gonna be about Gemma liking him for a long time but I didn't realize for how long and how desperately which in addition to how Savio behaves just made the book not my vibe at all. I don't like when the mmc has any sexual activity or even kissing with other women after he's met fmc. Ofc this book is different but once they were engaged he should've stopped. I know that was part of his challenge and growth here but I just don't enjoy it esp since CR does her mafia books with virgin fmcs who have little or no even knowledge of sex or sexual intimacy. I'm also not a fan of mmcs using women who aren't their wives or the "good" ones and treating all others like trash. I am ok with mafia mmcs having a higher body count but I either want the fmcs to have some experience or the mmcs to date or have ONS type encounters with women they treat decently. Calling sex workers whores and treating them like they're sex toys isn't smth I enjoy. It seems like that's a common theme in CR's books so this is very likely my last of her books which is a shame bc I really enjoyed Fabiano's book and even Nino's mostly.

Savio is okay. He is just okay. I mean I dont love him as much as I love his big brothers, but I tolerate him more than I tolerate Adamo.

The book is pretty long, but it's understandable because it was written from different point of Gemma and Savio's lives. Although im not really a big fan of it, but it's still interesting to know Gemma's feeling for Savio started as a childhood crush.

Gemma's background (her strict family) makes her different from the other Cora's fmc. Her family is a true traditionalist who stick to the rules to a T!

All in all, I actually enjoyed this book. Read it twice and cried both times during chapter 18!!! :'

I thought this book was really stereotypical and not very in depth.
The characters seemed to have one bit of personality and that was it and even at the end I didn’t really feel their chemistry.
But overall I did finish it which means I was entertained a little at least

I almost NEVER DNF books, something about quitting just never sits right with me… but after about 50% I skipped all the way to the end and read the last chapter because I just couldn’t.

I do not get it, books 1-3 were fantastic mafia romance reads. This one, was so cringy and bad it’s like the author just literally didn’t care about the storyline or the characters.

All the other reviews warned me, but I loved the others so much I thought I’d see if maybe everyone else was overreacting. Let me just say, 2 stars is generous… do not waste your time reading this if you like mafia romances. There’s so many better options on your TBR.

Tenía muchas ganas de leerlo porque Savio es de mis personajes favoritos pero hay varias partes en las que me no me cayo tan bien.
