This one was really cute. I liked the two main character, especially Stella, she was adorable. I definitely feel like she was neurodivergent coded, but it was never confirmed in the book. Either way she was so cute.
I really liked how the author portrayed Olive's anxiety and panic attacks throughout the book, though I wish we would have gotten a scene of Stella actually being there for one of Olive's panic attacks to see how she would have helped Olive through it. The one we got was just Olive asking for space because she thought that's what Stella would have wanted to hear and I would have enjoyed seeing Stella prove her wrong about that as well as seeing how Stella dealt with it. I feel like that would have been better than seeing Stella take care of Olive when she was sick.
I liked the character growth and development, I liked the characters in general, and the plot was decent,  but I just couldn't really get into this one as much as I would have liked to. It was cute, like I said, but it didn't grab me as much as some others have and I'm not really sure what it is about it. Maybe just the writing style? I also don't think fake-dating is one of my favorite troupes, so that could be it as well. The spicy scenes were phenomenal though.
Overall, this book was very mid for me I think.
