Fun, cheesy teen horror. Easy read, predictable reveal. Standard fear street book, but with more of a goosebumps ending.

I enjoyed this for what it was (YA pulp) and read it quickly, in a day, but it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, and it’s a bit predictable. I also don’t find creature features that interesting.

This is the first Fear Street Relaunch I’ve read, and it seems this series is slower paced, less formulaic, and less cheesy (less charming, as a result) than the original series. Not to say this book is slow.

Hopefully the others in the series are stronger, but this wasn’t terrible.
