This was adorable. I love a Ren Faire moment, and the character development for Simon Emily was on point. The only issue I had was that I couldn't help picturing an old work friend as Simon and then the sex scenes got REAL WEIRD and I would not recommend.

A quick easy read, perfect for the beach or a flight. I liked the renaissance fair aspect as its something I haven't seen before in a romance and I always enjoy the grumpy x sunshine trope.
This was only 3 stars for me because I didn't fully warm to the male character. There wasn't enough character development to redeem him after having a bad attitude throughout the whole book.

This was such a fun read and I could not put it down. I really liked the characters and empathized with them as they overcame their struggles, and it was a good mix of lighthearted while dealing with some serious themes. Also! It was so cute!
