This is a great book for people who love food and slices of life. The chapters are episodic and deal with the various circumstances of the agency's clientele. I love the descriptions of food and places--it reads like a list for anyone who wants to eat and tour Kyoto with a specific intention.

Cute fluff, somewhat clunky translation.

I love Japanese literature. This story felt like a warm and cozy hug. I don’t even care too much about food, but I loved the consistency of the Kamogawa diner and the stories of its patrons so comforting.
