Soo.. I thought I would loved way more this one, cause everyone saying that this is the best book, bla bla bla. The thing is I liked it, for me it is a 3,5 stars, but I didn’t like the plot so much as I did in hideaway. But I enjoyed it. I liked the dinamic between Damon and Winter for sure.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

é tão mau que é bom

wow

I loved this book so much. I loved Damon and Winters story throughout the entire book. This book had me shocked at many different moments and the twist at the end was absolutely shocking to me. I loved this one more than the other two and I’m excited to finish the series.

I cannot believe Penelope Douglas pulled this off—she actually made me fall in love with Damon. The man who has been a walking red flag since Corrupt. And yet here I am, swooning. His redemption arc? A little too quick and choppy for me. One minute he’s practically twirling his villain mustache, the next he’s saving Erika from a flaming curtain rod and suddenly the squad is like, “Yeah, he’s fine now.” Um… okay? I wanted it, don’t get me wrong, but I thought it would take more untangling than that. And wait—so he’s just… not mad at his sister anymore?

That said, Damon’s story was satisfying. But Winter? She stole the show for me. Brave, independent, layered, and finally giving us a bit more diversity in this world of privileged chaos. I adored her.

The twists, the gasps, the spice—it was all dialed up. And when Will entered the scene? Chef’s kiss. That’s the energy I’ve been waiting for. Honestly, Damon could’ve shared the love a bit more, but greedy bastard that he is, he kept it locked down.

All in all, I was hooked. Messy, dramatic, indulgent—and I loved every second.
