Such a good addition to this series. Compared to the first two it felt mature, robust, complicated, and fresh. I really enjoyed it, I just always think 500+ page books reallyyy test my attention span. I liked the details and story building, don't get me wrong, but I was running on steam the last 150 pages or so.

I actually ate that up, just for making me like Damon again after book 1 and 2 this book deserves all the stars it can get ,it didn’t just make me like him I LOVE HIM. I felt for him and it was so much background and trauma that I just had to eat it up. Kinda sad how she is forever blind tho and never gets to see him but she managed great, btw am I the only one that didn’t realize she was blind until like chapter 2
4.5!!! I loved this, I’m surprised I ended up liking this as much as I did because of how terrible of a character Damon was in the previous two books. Also, plot twist was !!!
Let me tell you, the villain always wins. Damon pulled through and came out as my favorite. He is so misunderstood, yet so powerful. I really enjoyed this book and watching him and Winter find their way back to each other!
I love Damon and all his darkness! Winter is such a strong FMC! They had their moments, but came through together at the end! The twists and turns of this story was everything.
To me, Damon was always messed up (they all were) but we never knew his full story. I liked how we got to know his past and that no one good is truly good and no one bad is ever truly bad. I’m happy he got a happy ending.
