I liked it but I think it was overly hyped up going into it. I'm sure if I was younger than my 30s I may actually have a completely different opinion. I can easily set myself back as a teen when reading about younger characters and although this series was fun and enjoyable as it is, people raved about Damon being their favorite and I was hoping for more to get me to completely love him, but it didn't happen. I am happy to get to know his side and see the better version but the boy is traumatized and it would take a lot more than a girl to completely turn over. I enjoyed it enough, it was just very over-hyped and I just feel like there is something missing after all that book which leaves me a little disappointed.

I don’t think there’s any book ever that has better character development and such a complete arch. Absolutely stunning work of art.

Yeah I knew from the moment I met Damon Torrance in Corrupt that his book would be my favorite. I have said it time and time again, I am down bad for the bully mmc who is mean to everyone else but her!!
Damon is such a complex character and I lived for his story and his pov from the previous books. He’s also the definition of a “morally black mmc”. While I enjoyed his book, it was also soul crushing at parts. He deserved so much more (not justification for his actions btw).
Winter was another character that I appreciated learning about throughout the book. While in the beginning, she annoyed me, she grew into a better character and I loved watching her come into her own.
Also I thought I was obsessed with Will before. Nope. I am embarrassingly feral for that man. His book will be my fave, I’m calling it!!
