This is one of the most impactful books I've read. The main character, Amir is honest in a way that will have you wondering what to do with your own dusty secrets and his friend Hassan will inspire you to be a better person.

If you, like me, never got around to reading this book for the last 14 years, stop, drop, and read.

Oh. My. Gosh.
Wow.

This book is incredible. It's so heartbreaking and poignant, but the ending is pregnant with hope. I can't recommend it enough. Fans of A Thousand Splendid Suns will love Hosseini's first novel about two boys born in very different situations in Afghanistan.

Seriously...read it. You won't be sorry.
