It has happened. I’m into it. I love these characters and I’m afraid of them dying and getting hurt, reading this I was in a constant state of worry (which is great for me, I read books for the emotion). I’m glad Setrakus Ra didn’t get a sappy backstory. I appreciate a purely evil villain, it makes it easier for me to villanise them in my head. This “turning earth into the new lorien” thing is not my jam though. It makes me think the ending will be anticlimactic, in that it’s going to be, we defeated the bad guy, time to rebuild then live a normal life. But of course I haven’t read it so this is all just speculation.
Did Sarah need to die though? That is the question I keep asking myself. Honestly i don’t know, but I feel like John had enough shit going on without that. This does not bode well for Sam but I still have hope for him.
This is an all over the place review but this was the 6th book and I’ve already said everything that might be useful in reviews of the previous books. If you’re reading reviews for this one then you might as well finish the series now. My positives and negatives are pretty much the same. Vibes are good going into the last book. 4 stars.
