This is an eye-opening graphic novel memoir about activism, journalism, and growing up in war-torn Syria by Muhammad Najem, who began reporting on the conflict in Syria using social media when he was a teen. I think students who have read When Stars are Scattered will also be gripped by this story.

Phenomenal book Masha’Allah!
Idk how i have never heard of him? 😭 but anyways Alhamdulillah glad This book exists! Glad more Syrians are getting to tell their stories! Love how honest it was as in no one was helping Syria etc

10/10 would recommend
A MUST read in fact!
Considering the fact that no matter how many pics of children dying, the West will never help as it is brown bodies. Whenever it Us Brown or Black bodies they do not care smh.

Honest and real and heartbreaking! Absolutely beautiful!
