This was a really cute read. I had no expectations starting this, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I really enjoyed it. I loved Jack from the get go, but it took a little while to warm up to Pepper. By the end though, I was totally rooting for both of them to get their happy ending.

All the yummy food mentioned through out sounded so delicious too, and I especially wanted to try Monster cake!

The parents on both ends suck, but the kids are alright. I'll forget what this book was even about in a week tops.

Crying score: no

“Tweet cute” es ABSOLUTE CUTE. ¡Madre mía! Ha sido un libro de leer sin parar y sonreír sin parar. Estas historias de amor adolescente naïf me encantan y esta es una monada.

10/10 writing style, felt like there was a lot going on for the plot which i really liked and overall the character development was really good. rivals to lovers definitely an 11/10,
only disappointment was the romance, felt a bit bland and not enough ✨spice✨ but overall was very cutee

So, I've been aware of this YA book by an author with my name for a while. I put off reading it because I HATE the title. It's so cringey.
But I finally read it and it's okay. In a predictable teen romance kind of way. Nothing special, but nothing to be ashamed of either. Except for the title.

So if you know me, the real Emma Lord, then just know that this book is by an impostor. I know nothing about New York. I would not write a book centered around a Twitter battle. I would not write a book that includes so much food. Not that those are bad things, just that I wouldn't write them. Impostor Emma Lord gets to use my name because she wrote her book first (and let's be honest, that's a freakin huge undertaking). I may not ever write a book, but I'm still thinking about it. Maybe I'll publish under Emma Lemon.
