enjoyed the reading experience, but didn’t love the world and the pacing, of the romance especially, was a bit weird.
didn’t really love the mcs or connect with them, they were okay. and felt like the side characters could have been more developed.

dark tense fast-paced

Single dad (see also fixer for "the society") needs a nanny but finds a whole lot of trouble.
The heroine is mostly mute due to an attempt on her life and uses ASL and text apps to communicate. The book isnt groundbreaking in its writing style but the story itself was twisty enough to keep my attention. I didn't expect to like this as much as I did.

Stern rigid mafia guy meets mute nanny...

I liked this story overall. It was entertaining. I only skimmed the torture scenes.

From a distance it looks like it should be a 5-star for me. What I liked:

- the h is a nanny with secrets - she's innocent-ish and vulnerable

Reading Kingdom Fall by A. Zavarelli is probably the best decision that I’ve done this month because it was so good! I can’t believe that I didn’t read this book sooner because it was so much better than I have expected. Alessio and Natalia’s story definitely got me hooked from the beginning till the end. I just loved everything about it from its engaging storyline, interesting characters, and delicious romance.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read for me and I highly recommend for everyone to try out this book! A. Zavarelli had done a great job in the pacing and development of the whole story. The twist definitely took me by surprise which made it much more exciting. Believe me, you definitely don’t want to miss this book because it’s totally worth it.

I knew when I started this book that it would be an "up all night, edge of my seat " twisted tale and it sure was. 10 stars for me hands down. Not going to tell you the details except for what is already known, Allesio is a dangerous man, a very important man of the IVI society. Everything about this society is mysterious, intriguing , i love it! Allesio is in need of a nanny and hires Natalia. Natalia has her own mysterious story, love how she seems timid but she is nothing like that . Very independent, strong willed and confident. Of course they clash, they are curious about each other and some what attracted.
Love the mystery, the twists and turns. This dark, gritty romance is a definite must read

4.5 Stars This is a story full of secrets, twists and I loved every page. Natalia had quite the agenda when she secured an interview for nanny to Sovereign Son Alessio's son Nico. What that agenda is I can't possibly tell you, but needless to say I didn't see it coming. There's darkness, heartbreak, betrayal all mixed with Ms. Zavarelli's take on a strong Mafia world which I was hooked by. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own. Check TW's
