This book brought out so much emotion - anger, frustration, annoyance, happiness - I was a whole hot mess while reading. This was truly a story of Breakthrough - Defying the Odds.
Sariyah-Marie is a strong young lady who endured so much pain and sadness that at times I kept asking myself if I would survive if I were in the same situation. Breakthrough showcases a topic that leaves emotional, psychological and physical scars and impacts us directly and indirectly around the world.
In each chapter, I visualized the scene and was gripped with shock a few times at what was unfolding on the pages of this book - skillful writing. Kerisha, despite the many emotions, I appreciate this book and look forward to reading the next one.
