I am so tired of books making me cry, a murder mystery should never have that affect, but here we are.
I truly started this book a week ago, then finished it this morning. I could have strangled the Laurel and Noelle. I feel like Laurel could have been more attentive to Ellie when she cancelled tutoring sessions she asked for. Looking back, it was so heart wrenching to realize she should have leaned into that mistrust of Floyd and his rush of feelings for her all of a sudden. Such a gripping read!
