It was a good, dark story but it was too predictable. I was hoping I was wrong and there would be an unexpected twist but it never came.
I liked this for the most part, but I wish that the storyline between Laurel and her other children was explored a bit more. It felt like the book was leading up to confrontations that never came, especially with her eldest daughter who held some (rightful) resentment towards her. I would definitely read another book by this author though!
Thriller is an understatement. I could not put this one down. It's soooo very dark and twisted though so don't read this before bed.
