A nostalgic read. Loved this book as a kid and I still enjoyed it as an adult.

This is a delightful fantasy book with almost a cozy vibe. I apparently skipped the first peen trilogy but I think I will finish this first. So happy to be going back to some fantasy roots!

I'm so used to reading fantasy books about people who sling either swordsor magic, that the story of a bard coming into her own threw me. My fault. Kinda slow tho.
