⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I guessed both “twists” about 40% in. Not as well-written a ‘Weyward,’ but still an enjoyable story overall.

This is my first Emilia Hart, and I’m hooked. Her writing is visceral and gorgeous, and the way she weaves a mystery had me turning pages desperately to piece it all together. I LOVED this story and how she captured the rage of being a woman, the depth of love between family, and the scars our choices and circumstances leave on us. Unbelievable read, could not get enough.

4.5 ⭐️ better than Weyward in my opinion. I flew through this. There were some parts that I had to read four times to understand what the heck was happening. Also a few open ended questions that didn’t get answered. Overall super well written and fascinating. Truly different than a lot of stuff out there.
I wanted to like this more than I did. While this wasn't a bad book, it just didn't grab my attention. I found it extremely slow and meandering, and I had no real connection with the characters.
