I am absolutely obsessed with the fake dating trope. It's amazing and always bring enough drama for me to stay interested.

This book surprised me, I was expecting to enjoy it but not as much as I actually did. I finished this book in a day and a half. It was that good.

James. Sweet, cinnamon roll James. Some of the words that came out of his mouth had me kicking and squealing like a lovesick teenager. *swoons* He made me feel all the feels and if a character can do that in a book, it's a win for me. His dirty mouth also had me squeezing my legs together and I'm not sorry about it.

Bex. I love her. She's great. Her ex, good riddance. She definitely upgraded with James.

My only qualm about the 'fake dating' trope is that it really wasn't fake dating considering everyone and their mama knew they were faking it. Defeats the purpose of the whole fake dating scenario if everyone knows about it, but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

Overall, this book while it had some flaws, was still disgustingly adorable and made my chest hurt in the best possible ways was amazing and you definitely should read it. It's a quick read.

Meh, not the biggest fan. Still don’t know what a “first down” is. The writing wasn’t my favourite and I don’t understand American football. I liked the story though it was okay

3.5 stars. The fake dating trope wasn’t necessary because we knew they would end up together from the start. The writing wasn’t great overall but was very easy to read. Many moments had me reminiscing on my own relationship in college which earned the half star.
