I did not enjoy Vol. 2, which is kind of strange because I really liked Vol. 1. I didn't understand what was going on, so that's probably why. Riddler's exposition did not help me, which is odd because I got the impression that's the only reason he was included in the story at all.

Reading these two volumes has been an amazing palate cleanser after my more recent books, so fun and so well drawn, definitely going to look for the rest of the collection.

Probably the most fun I’ve had with the DC Universe so far. Batman + Catwoman = HOT.

This is only the third Batman centric comic I have ever read, and I was brought to tears several times in the reading of this volume. I enjoyed the soap opera feel to the plot. I am pleased to say that I correctly suspected the culprit from the moment they were introduced… I liked the interplay of teamwork.

Es entretenido y mantiene misterio hasta el final
This is another book that I really wished I could give a 3.5 to. I did like it, quite a bit, but the more I chew on it, the more I find little flaws here and there. Ultimately, I ended up thinking that the cavalcade of stars worked fine, though I do feel like I was drowning in them by the end, and had a little trouble remembering who was doing what. I could see the ending from way back on page 2 of the first volume, and had hope that I was wrong at many points in the book with different red herrings and exciting moments, but it all came together as I had suspected. The problem is, I don't know that I'm incredibly perceptive, but that the clues were all spoon fed to me. Comic book dialogue and text is so expository that it's painful at times.
The artwork is incredible though. The characters look better than most Batman graphic novels. I liked the thread about Batman and Catwoman up until the very end, and then kind of hated Batman for the choices he made, which I think I'm okay with. I'd recommend this for big fans of Batman, but not for people new to the franchise. It's just too damned overwhelming.
