I really did not enjoy this book; the only reason I finished it is because it is short. Despite the few pages, it felt so slow paced I was still skipping over paragraphs. The way King writes about periods & women's sexuality is so inaccurate it is hard to read. At no point did it seem scary, I just felt bad for Carrie - which I suppose is the point, the book was just not advertised to me in this way.
