I started reading Warriors, as it was a recommendation from a friend. I found this to be a great ending to the first series, and while there were some errors as names being mixed up and typos, I loved it nonetheless. I was surprised by the direction the plot took, but I enjoyed it.

The first arc ends on a high note! This book was super good! Still not free of the systematic problems in the series that keep all but the first book from being five stars, but there are some iconic moments that still hold up today, like the scene Firestar, Graystripe, and Ravenpaw witness in RiverClan’s territory and Firestar’s first encounter with Scourge.
Firestar believing the entire past two books that his destiny is to defeat Tigerstar one-on-one, only to witness Tigerstar bleed out nine times at the paws of Scourge is such a cultural reset. Damn, that scene still holds up. Truly legendary moment.
