I just knew Rath’s story was going to be good, but this was better than I even expected. Charlee Bag of Dicks was just what he needed, she pushed him out of comfort zone and made his life so much more fun. They were just so perfect for each other

Genius

I’m a big fan of Meghan Quinn- maaaan that girl can WRITE!
I love these characters. Rath, the pastry-loving, secret softie, and Charlee, whose best friend is her grandma and who is unapologetically obsessive about office supplies. What a colorful, amazing cast of characters.
I also loooove Bram and Rath’s bromance- it is epic. I was happy to see more of Linus, who I think is just fantastic. And those steamy scenes? Nothing short of genius.

love love love both the characters, charlee and rath are people out of my own heart, the HUMOR! the HEAT! and omg just so freakin sweet

This book started off absolutely hilarious. I laughed like a crazy person, tears and all. The amazingly humorous exchange between the two main characters went on for quite a while, until eventually the humour dialled down a bit, being replaced with an intense romance. I thought this gradual shift was a nice balance between two aspects that I enjoy very much in a book.
The romance was very enjoyable as Charlee and Rath have undeniable chemistry. Charlee is extremely likable (being the reason for most of my chuckles and laughs while reading this novel), and I can completely understand why Rath fell hard for her. The playfulness in their romance was enhanced by the office-setting, seeing how their employee-boss relationship worked really well for them and their developing feelings (unlike many other romance novels trying to work with a similar trope). I do have to say that I could have done without the ‘marriage of convenience’ as it did not really add much tension for me, and rather made the shift into being more than just co-workers a little bit too easy for my liking.

Great read! This book was by far the best of the trilogy. The grump of the "grump/ sunshine" trope was not too grumpy for too long, so it worked. Then there was the "fake marriage" trope between "boss and assistant". So basically three tropes in one book :) I was really crying at one point, which I don't usually do for this type of book. I think it was because the characters are so well-developed which makes you feel so close to them. I just loved both the H and the h so much <3 Off to read the next Meghan Quinn book!

I just don't like either of these characters and can't force myself to care about them. Also I love Connor Crais but he is just not meant to voice female characters.

4 color coordinated stars!!

Charlee is the perfect mix of tenacity and corkiness and I just loved every minute of it. Did she have her flaws, of course otherwise it wouldn’t have been a good romance novel. I liked that we were kind of more focused on Rath’s flaws so that you didn’t really see hers sneaking up on you. Charlee’s obsession with office supplies was adorable and I loved how she color coded every day of the week. It was interesting to see how she brought out the good in everyone around her, her bubbly personality is just infectious.

Rath is so strait laced the only time he lets loose is when he is with his bromance buddies. I loved his special connection with Bram and how he is closer with him than his own sister. Their relationship made me chuckle quite a few times. Rath has no idea what to do with Charlee in his life she is like a rainbow firecracker in his life that doesn’t quite fit, yet he doesn’t want to look away. I liked how he adjusted right away for everything she did so that her feelings wouldn’t be hurt. Such a sweetheart and he doesn’t want to admit it.

This book is like the ultimate rom-com it made me laugh and cry and gave me all the feels. It was perfect to get my mind off day to day problems. I would highly suggest it.

“He’s a smart man,” I say, stepping up to the bar. “Two club sodas with lime, hold the straws.”

Charlee smiles. “Are you saving the turtles with the no straws?”

I look to the side and say, “Yes, and one should never suck on something while talking to their colleagues; it shows weakness.”

“Aah.” She nods and then whispers, “Represents that you’re willing to suck ass, totally get it. Well guess what, people? Rath Trevor Westin doesn’t suck ass.” She stabs the bar top but then leans back and puts that fake smile back on her face.

What the hell am I going to do with this girl?

Als… she’s right. I don’t suck ass, for anyone.

Also…my middle name is not Trevor.
