I'm obsessed with this series! It has such a good balance of fantasy and romance. This is one of the easiest-to-read fantasies I've read this year. Instead of a massive information dump in the first book, you're slowly fed information on a need-to-know basis or as Auren learns. Auren is an incredible main character, she goes on such an emotional journey and watching her spread her wings (ribbons? lol) is really rewarding. I liked this series way more than I thought I would and I'm so excited for Glow!

I live the character development in this one, love that she breaks free and finds herself. And I like the little peaks into the other characters lives and back stories.

This book had me in a vice grip. The more I read, the more obsessed I feel 😂 also can we talk about how emotionally devastating this book is?? I feel rung out. Yet I can’t wait to read on. I am head over heels for the MMC and I feel like he is going to ruin all other book boyfriends for me!
