This was an amazing book! The payoff of Aurens journey to freedom was amazing!! I was sweating, pacing and completely satisfied!! This book is a perfect romantasy, the romance was hitting so well and Slade is that guy! Our fmc coming all the way into her own so she could be the one to break free ⛓️‍💥 was amazing!! I finished this book in less than a day and I am sat with how good it was!!

DNF’ing series after book 3. Love Slade and his inner circle but that’s about it.

Same great characters as Book 2. Minus a star for graphic sex scenes. But plus a star for great ending. The action is good but the pacing is a little slower than book 2. Auren is still very concerned with the other women (I refuse to use that derogatory term) which slows the plot. Also some chapters are from the Queen’s perspective, which is well done but not a lot of fun to read. I might take a break from reading these back to back, but I’ll definitely read Book 4.
