The end 20% of this book was where all the good stuff happens. The twist with Midas’ past made me shocked, like after all this time she held onto the fact he saved her when it was all a ploy. Satisfying that he got what he deserved and she’s finally unleashed her potential.  Honestly, great read very much enjoyed

Book 3 really delivers! The story advances into an exciting new phase and so do all the character's relationships, especially the main romance. We see more magic and more of the world, and meet important new characters. There is action, there is drama, there is spice, there is deception, there is female rage, and there are plot twists. I enjoyed it all, especially the ending!

Just when you think you’ll get resolution, when you think she’ll finally be completely free bc she’s found her strength to speak out, the author throws in a very plausible twist - what happens when society doesn’t believe the survivor and is instead blamed??

Wow. I just can’t with these series. My library doesn’t have beyond the 3 installment so I bought the fourth book and can’t wait to read it. Phew.

4.35 stars This book was gooood, the reason behind my high rating is more about Slade and Auren then the plot itself, I found it still slow but also still very interesting and captivating, it’s different from all the others fantasy I read before and I like it
Slade and Auren? They were perfect
