Io adoro lo stile particolare di Klune e come qui abbia, secondo me, narrato in due metà (senza spezzare la storia, anzi si intrecciano molto bene): la prima è più concentrata sulla storia d’amore, complicata, sofferta, pura e vera, di Gordo e Mark; la seconda sul proseguimento della trama e sull’azione avvincente che ne deriva, uno dei punti che rende la storia incredibilmente scorrevole. Altro punto che mi ha fatto emozionare è stato proprio Gordo come protagonista, perché già da subito era uno dei miei personaggi preferiti e ho adorato vedere il suo punto di vista e i suoi retroscena, è stato praticamente conoscerlo più a fondo e sentirlo vicino e immedesimabile come Ox.

sometimes u kinda do just need 40 year old kismesis ...

not as strong as the first one imo BUT i liked the plot and action a lot better :] tj klune has such a magnetic pull in his writing its crazyyy to me .. made my tummy hurt and made me tear up so many times .. its all about pack dynamics babyyy

OH MY FUCKING GODDDDDDD. this book kinda destroyed me, like gordo GET TF BEHIND ME BABES. that being said, klune has done it again unfortunately. i loved every second of this novel. it’s been hours since i finished and i still don’t quite have words to describe how i feel. but god, idk if the others will be able to top this

Gordo!! I believe it's on my account that he's the best character there is in Green Creek (and Bambi..)
It's a sad and lonely life he's lived but the reader can pick out all the eventful scenes and feel happy for him as well as depressed. His friends, co-workers, the Pack, his late parents, and of course Ox; every character had an impact on his life and that ultimately shaped him into who he is now in the present story. I was weirded out by the whole Omega outburst, but with Gordo's narrative as the Witch of the area, things kept getting more and more interesting.
