Definitely not my favorite of Alice Feeney's books. I didn't like any of the characters, which sure has been a running theme with all of the other books, but since I saw the twists coming from miles away I wasn't left with the satisfaction of the other books. There were some clever red herrings that made me doubt myself but really the way that the characters related to one another was fairly easy for me to spot. I was really just fighting with the ages and exact relationships but knew the connection was there. Still fairly entertaining and I love a British narrator so that certainly helps!

I really really REALLY didn’t enjoy this book and only finished it out of sheer stubbornness that it wouldn’t beat me.
All the characters were annoying, there were plot twists that were just poorly executed, and the ending was irritating.

Thanks to netgalley I was allowed to listen to this as an audiobook. I absolutely love the narrators and the storyline. I listened to this book in one day. I could not stop listening. I did have a hard time keeping up with the different point of views but I'm sure that was my fault. I listen to books at 3.0X :) so after slowing it down it was not hard to follow at all. I can't wait to buy this in hardcover to read again. I like to take notes but was unable to due to the fact I was driving while listening. Great job Alice!

Overall I enjoyed the book but it was fairly confusing with all the different characters and I couldn’t work out how everything was linked - but I knew it must be or else there wouldn’t have been so many threads running through it. It was twisty at the end but I would have liked it to be less confusing throughout!

I could guess most of the plot twists but it was still a good read!
