This took me ages to listen to because I haven't been able to run, which didn't help. It was generally good, but I really hated the last five or ten percent of this book. The idea of all of the victims and survivors meeting up with him at a remote location was meant to be empowering but it was so, so irresponsible and they are lucky no one got seriously injured. The ending was only saved by the epilogue

Lisa Jewell is a go-to of mine when I am in the mood for a thriller that doesn't require much brain power to read/listen to. I listened to the audio of this book and was confused in the beginning about how many 'lives' this man had but was able to get it straightened out enough to enjoy the book. It did feel a little boring at times (how many times can the same lame man con another woman.....) but it was entertaining enough.
