I really enjoyed this book in the end. I wasnt quiet sure about it at the beginning because it didn't seem like a thriller.

I like that we are following different woman stories and how they all relate back to one man. One man with different names.

Lisa Jewell did a wonderful job wrapping the story up and making it so I had no idea how it was going to end. Thank you to Atria books and Netgalley for the eArc.

I just need to say, toxic men make great thrillers.

This book was so messy in the best way. MMC from the jump I knew would be trouble. I had to keep going because every chapter I was like…girl now what???? That ending could’ve gone harder, but honestly “whatever his name is” lol carried the drama.

This was super creepy in an unputdownable way. The tale of a sociopath grifter conning over a slew of wives isn’t exactly novel, but I found myself gripped by this from the start. The three POVs were really compelling and the way his crimes escalated throughout made me keep wondering what new horror came next. This was a thrill ride from start to finish.
