This book would have made a better novella or short story in my opinion.
I felt that it really dragged on unnecessarily. Nick Cutters stylistic approach really worked in 'The Troop' but I feel that there was too much talk and not enough action in this one. The dialogue didn't add enough texture for it to be worth it.
