A cute, charming finish to Lucien and Stephen's story.

I didn't care for the case so much in this one, but the character development was finally as good as I've been wanting it to be since the beginning. That said, with the case not being up to snuff, this still is going to sit pretty at a 4 with its predecessor.

I'm excited to read this next short story but I'm even more excited to get to Jackdaw and Rag and Bone to see what else this little universe has to offer. Onward!

A nice conclusion. There was juuust enough relationship drama to seem real, but it didn't piss me off, and I like how their relationship grew and progressed. Overall, a fun series that I'm glad I picked up.

This was a great conclusion to the series. I love Crane and Stephen and I'm kinda sad that we might not see them again. This book, once again, had a great mystery plot. It was heavier on the conflict between Stephen and Crane, but that's because it was time for certain things to be discussed when it came to the future of their relationship. And I liked the way it was all wrapped up.

Looking forward to reading more by the author.

Re-read November 3

There needs to be more of Lucien and Stephen because three books and a few novellas isn't nearly enough for me.
