Juliet and Henley are both immature game playing liars.  They have ONE date with amazing sex and then she doesn't hear from him and then sees him and lies to his face.  Fast forward three years later where she unknowingly moves in next door to him.  Sparks fly and she continues lying and then they fall into amazing sex which seems to be their only bond.  He has emotional issues from losing his mother at fifteen (nothing else is explained) and she's obsessed and in love with him even though he treats her like dirt.  Constant arguing and make up sex and her wanting to change him rounds out the story.  The other characters in the book (Blake, Antony, Rebecca, & Chloe) were way more interesting and I'm sure one of the other guys will get a book.

The toxicity of the relationship

A few random takeaways because I don’t even know how to review this:

-Will I be reading the next one? Fuck. Yes.

-I’m a firm believer that a good sex life is important in a healthy, well balanced relationship. I’m also a firm believer that you cannot base a healthy relationship on only a sex life. Like, there has to be more than your ability to get each other off to make it through the seasons that come in a lifetime together.

-I’m also confident in the knowledge that if you marry an orthopedic surgeon, you know what you’re going to get.

-I don’t know what tropes to mark this as. I liked it but also kind of wanted to punch the main characters in their faces.

-The cover makes it seem like it could possibly be dark: it’s not.

-Other reviewers wanted more groveling and it almost turned me off of reading but I can say that they both are fucking ridiculous so it seemed to balance.
