This book is incredible! There were so many eye-opening devotionals in this book & I felt like I really learned a lot & grew in my faith & relationship with God.

This was just not the book I was expecting and not what I needed at the time.

The devotional thoughts were good and so were the questions and there is plenty of room to write out your responses.

Full of reminders of how God works and who God is in your daily life.
Easily can be picked up and reread as a devotional with topics that can hit different as you age and grow in your faith.
One thing I wish there was more of is putting a "extra reading" section. She mentions many stories or instances of specific things in the Bible, but then doesn't give you further reading to discover more context on your own. There are picked out verses, but not chapters of text.

I always enjoy reading Priscilla Shirer's books, and this one was certainly no different. It wasn't my favorite book by her--that might still go to her book on hearing the voice of God. Or maybe her book on Gideon. She's just so amazingly talented and every book she writes will challenge you, convict you, and take your faith outside of your comfort zone. I don't want to say too much because you really just need to take the time to experience her writing. Make time to be able to digest it, keep a highlighter and pencil handy, and for goodness sake pray for God to move! He showed up in mighty ways for me through this book. I'm sure He will for you too.

This is exactly what you would expect from Priscilla Shirer. It is well written, deep and encouraging. It is grounded in the truth of scripture and points you directly to God.

This is exactly what the world needs more of. I am convinced that any words Priscilla chooses to put on paper, I will choose to read. I am grateful for the way she uses her gifts to encourage and inspire the world. Do yourself a favor, buy this for yourself and then buy copies to gift to others.

The publisher provided an ARC through Netgalley. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, giving my personal opinions and thoughts

This was a wonderful devotional! I did 2-3 per day instead of one per day because it was a library book, but I really enjoyed it!
