The rest of the series was great, but this one had me crying while listening to it on the way home.

Finally…finally Tessa realizes her relationship is toxic. It took too many second chances and tragic events to come to this realization but she did. She is struggling with her love for Hardin and her dreams to find her own identity. She moves to NYC and they spend years apart, for the better. It definitely has a different feel then the other books and I liked the way the series ended and I am glad it ended years after a time apart. Also Hardin writing a book, did not see that happening.
Fav Quotes:
“Seriously, it's okay to be sad, but if you let sadness control your life, you'll never have one.”
“After everything, we made it. Whatever the hell our souls are made of, they are the same.”
“You won’t know how lucky you are to be able to spend your life with the other half of your soul until you have to spend your life without them.”
“You shouldn’t date someone if your heart is owned by someone else. It doesn’t work, trust me.”
“I saw the empty, sad girl smile for the sad boy who loves her with all of his broken soul.”
“We needed to be able to stand alone before we could stand together, and I'm so thankful that we made it through the darkness, the fighting, the pain, and emerged hand in hand, stronger than ever.”
“It’s not so easy to walk away from someone when he has made his way into every cell, when he has taken over every thought, and he has been responsible for the best and worst feelings I’ve ever had. No one, not even the doubting part of me, can make me feel bad for loving passionately and hoping desperately that I could have that great love that I’ve read about in novels.”

Then the 4rd book came. The same thing happened, I wasn’t as emotional exhausted as in the 2nd and the 3rd but my heart was filled. There was actually a moment that feared the character's future because the ending was coming and I wasn’t sure how it would end, even though already I knew (it’s weird to explain, only those who read will fully understand). But then it came and I couldn’t be more happy for knowing what would happen but sad at the same time because this beautiful journey was ending. To be honest I cried so much at the end. I remember it was 3 a.m. and I was sitting on my bed. Tears flooded my eyes as the ending came closer. I read the end three times in a row, crying each time as it was a the first.
3 weeks went by, 3 weeks filled with emotions, 3 weeks that seemed like years. This story of two people finding themselves and find love in each other had more impact on me that I could ever imagine. My life changed the moment I decided to read the first book and I didn’t even know.
Everything After related is now a favourite of mine. And I am going to read Before, Nothing More and Nothing Less also by Anna Todd, the amazing writer that changed the lives of multiple people.
With this story not only came the experience but I learned and discovered new things. I found out about the amazing band that is The Fray and I started to listen to One Direction, a band that I hadn’t listen to a song for at least 2 years. I have the Hessa playlist and it’s my to go music. I am constantly listening to it.
After is a story that will never be forgotten by me. I will buy my own books and I will read it over and over again. Like Tessa and Hardin read Pride and Prejudice or Wuthering Heights I will read After.
One thing I am sure of is that my life after After will never be same. And for that I have Anna to thank. So thank you, thank you for sharing this with us.
