This book just completely blew me away. There's something so loveable about Penryn and her love for Paige is so strong and so heartbreaking that I often found myself getting upset as Penryn did, because their connection is so heartfelt and raw and weirdly it felt utterly real, in an environment and a situation that is so massively UNreal. Also think I might be madly in love with Raffe.
Definitely not as good as the 1st book. Some parts are really gross. I still like the characters though. I'm not a fan of how she ends the books though. It seems like you are mid-story and it just cuts off. She needs to wrap things up better each time, even if it is a series.
