I read this novella to get a bit of Evelyn's backstory. Evelyn was a bit childish given she should have been a junior in college was a little bothersome. On to the full-length story to see what happens now that Evelyn's a full-fledged Cupid.

I read this as part of the Supernatural chronicles series and found that as a back story for her own books it was interesting but as part of the chronicles it was lacking, there was none of the true consiquences of the collapse of the world as we know it. It was almost more of a healing and finding yourself book. While I enjoyed the story in itself it was frustrating not to really see the fight that was present in the other books.
